“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.
Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God?
Blow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people.
Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants.
Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber.
Between the vestibule and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep and say, “Spare your people, O Lord, and make not your heritage a reproach, a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’””
Joel 2:12-17 ESV
Turn your heart to the Lord while you can find Him.
Seek the Lord with all your heart and strength.
Repent of his sins.
The Lord is just and merciful, but the time of trial is near.
The Lord poured out His Grace on the world, sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, so that everyone who believes in Him does not perish, but it is necessary that we take the attitude and decision to seek the Lord and repent of the sins.
Don't be fooled by what the world has to offer, as this will all pass soon.
Commit your way to the Lord and trust Him.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and declare with your mouth that He is the Lord of your life and ask Him to forgive you for your sins.
The work of transformation in our lives is not done by force or will, because alone , by ourselves, we will not succeed.
But when we accept the Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and Savior, He comes to dwell in our hearts with the Holy Spirit and then He will help us change what we can't.
However, it is necessary to believe, accept and want to change our lives, because the pleasures that the world offers us only increases the hole we have in our hearts.
It doesn't matter wealth, possessions, beauty, relationships, etc. These things cannot fill our heart.
Outside of God, it is impossible to have peace and find real happiness and purpose.
