What Christ has done for me

It's really easy to think about what Jesus has done for us in terms of history, facts or even logical, because we know the biblical story of Jesus, but what does it mean when you live this in your real life, in your heart you truly experience what Jesus has done for you.

Many may think, Jesus is a religion, but that's not truth. Jesus didn't create a religion neither a institution. Jesus Christ is much more than only a religion or doctrine or ideology or any kind of human institution.

Saying who He is may be even redundant to some people and they might think again "religion".

But to explain better who Jesus is, it's better testify what He has done for me.

Jesus loved! When I was in deep dark place in my life, feeling alone, unworthy, unpleasant and rejected.

Jesus embraced! When I cried out for help, when I was humble to ask for his help to clean my heart and fix my life.

Jesus gave me peace, comfort! When I lost someone really important in my life, when I felt I lost my ground, when I felt I could die at any moment of my life, when I had a hole in my heart.

Jesus provided for me! When I lost my job, when I was feeling impotent and I had my self-esteem completely broken.

Jesus saved me! More importantly, because He is God, but He chose to become a man, come to this earth, live among us, teach the gospel, be betrayed by one of his friends, and allow himself to be crucified on a cross for the sins of mankind, so that that we could have our relationship with God restored through his blood and be able to have our sins forgiven and have eternal life. If, only if we choose to believe and accept Him as our Lord God.

Jesus lives in my heart! Once I believed and accepted him as my Lord God and I confessed and repented of my sins, His Holy Spirit now lives in my heart and I'm able to be guided and taught to make the right choices, being admonished when I do something wrong. The Holy Spirit will help me on my prayers and intercede for me when I ask for his help.

Jesus is my rock and my refuge! It may seem a little vague, but as simple and broad as it seems, it is exactly what it means. Once I say to Jesus that I choose to trust Him and rest in His arms, and I put all my trust in Him, I know He will make His way.

Jesus is the truth and the way to God, when you allow Him to work in your life, you will know Him and feel His love each time more as you open your life and heart to His love.

I pray that you will be able to make this prayer and ask Jesus to be your Lord God, tell Him that you believe in Him in your heart and ask Him to forgive you and change your life. In Jesus's name. Amen!
