Little prayer

My Lord, my God, my Heavenly Father, it has been difficult to hear or obey You.

It has been difficult and I feel so weak and alone at times.

Father, I know that only in You do I find rest. Only in You is there an abundance of love and peace that surpasses understanding.

Father, forgive me for sometimes not being able to do what You ask of me, out of weakness or fear or doubt. You are not a God of doubt, but of peace and tranquility.

Father, I believe in You and in Your love, and Your Word says that You will never abandon or forsake me. So I continue to follow Your path through Your love, through You, because You know that I am dust and nothing can separate me from Your love except myself.

Father, I never want to be far from You or separated from Your love. Father, I love You. I love Your Son Jesus, my dear and beloved Lord and Savior, and Your beloved Holy Spirit, my friend, counselor and companion.

Father, Your Word also says that Your power is made perfect in my weakness, so I seek You and thank You for helping me, strengthening me, showing me the way and changing my life.

I know that the journey is difficult, but Your Word says that You are with me when I pass through the valley of the shadow of death and that I shall not want if I trust and am faithful.

Father, here I am, I trust and believe in You.

Thank You for being my God, my Father, my Rock, a very present help in times of trouble.
