Little prayer

My Lord, my God, my Heavenly Father,It has been difficult at times to hear You and to obey. I feel weak and alone, yet I know that only in You do I find rest. In You alone is love and peace that surpass all understanding.

Father, forgive me for the times I have failed to do what You ask—out of weakness, fear, or doubt. You are not a God of confusion but of peace and calm.

I believe in You and in Your unfailing love. Your Word promises that You will never leave nor forsake me. So I continue to walk Your path, through Your love and strength, for You know my frailty. Nothing can separate me from Your love but myself.

Father, I never want to be apart from You or distant from Your presence. I love You, I love Your Son Jesus—my dear Lord and Savior—and I love Your Holy Spirit, my friend, counselor, and constant companion.

Your Word says that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. So I thank You for strengthening me, guiding me, transforming me, and showing me the way.

Though the journey is difficult, I trust Your promise: that even in the valley of the shadow of death, You are with me. I shall not want if I trust and remain faithful.

Here I am, Father. I believe in You and I trust You.

Thank You for being my God, my Father, my Rock, and my ever-present help in times of trouble.
