Father, forgive me.

Father, forgive me because I have sinned.

I have sinned Lord, in my heart when I doubted Your power.

I have sinned Lord, in my heart when I did not obey Your request.

I sinned Lord when I was not honest and hid my sin.

Father, forgive me because when I did not confess my sin, I felt as if I were dead, I felt empty and as if I carried an enormous weight in my soul.

But, I know that guilt and the worst weight that anyone can carry their souls with.

Father, forgive me because I do not want to hide my heart from You, I do not want to flee from Your presence.

Not only because I cannot hide from You, for the Lord is omniscient, but simply because in You alone I find forgiveness, healing and transformation for my soul.

Father, while I'm away from You, I feel like I'm dying and in the dark.

But when I call on Your name and place myself on Your feet, I feel Your light and Your warmth envelop me.

I feel Your forgiveness in my soul and Your love in my heart.

Father, I do not want to sin against You, I do not want to become rebellious and disobedient. Forgive me because I am often so flawed.

Lord, give me strength and wisdom to understand Your voice and Your requests.

Father, increase my faith and give me strength to reject all unbelief in my mind or in my heart.

Because I know, Father, that the Lord and God of Power and Glory.

Father, I love you, renew Your Spirit in me.
