Father, I need you.

Lord, my God and my Father, teach me to listen to you.

Sometimes in my haste, I am repetitive in my words and I lose focus on what I really wanted to talk about.

I ask for forgiveness, Father, because of my limitations and failures.

I know Lord, that You search the hearts and know my thoughts and feelings. My words are known to You even before they leave my mouth.

Father, teach me how to pray. Teach me to pour my life on Your altar, to depend on You every day, the simple and difficult things in my life.

Father, I know that You do not require difficult words or eloquent prayer, but You seek a humble, honest and open heart.

Father, I seek You because I love You, I want You in my life and in my days.

I want You in my thoughts every day, I want to be able to share with You my joys and sorrows, my anxieties and deliver my heavy burdens into Your hands.

My Lord God and Father, I want to live in Your Spirit, listening to Your voice and learning from You.

Teach me Lord ...

Father, I want to dream Your dreams and live Your plans.

Your ways are so much bigger and your purposes so much better than mine.

I want to learn to adore You and praise Your love at all times, sing praises from my heart.

Father, I want so much to pour myself into Your presence and be filled with Your Spirit.

There is no better place to be, there is no better place.

Your presence, Lord, is as sweet and as soft as the touch of a warm breeze.

As Your word says, I will fear no harm, because I know that You are with me.

Dad, I need You ...

I just need You every day.

Not because You are the almighty God, but because I need You in my life and in my heart, because I love You.
