Lord, I want to learn to trust You.

I want to surrender my ways and heart to Your hands and wait on You.

That I learn to depend on You in my decisions and choices.

Father, I wish to surrender my ways in Your hands and have peace.

For even though things do not go the way I expect, I know that the Lord is in control of my life.

Lord, I want to pour my heart into Your hands and have a true relationship with You.

Father, I want to trust You and You will be my Anchor and my Rock, I will not fear any storm.

Even if everyone around me runs in horror and tears, I will still trust You and I will not be shaken.

I want to be a blessing to the people around me and may my life be to glorify Your name.

Help me to have confidence in Your wisdom so that I recognize You in all my ways.

I don't want to be guided by my eyes, but I just want to fear the Lord and run away from what is evil.

Father, I do not want to be guided by my own wisdom, or by the wisdom of the world that is forged in selfishness and blind ambition, but I want to be guided only by Your wisdom and instruction, for Yours is the true wisdom about all things.

Father, I wish that my resolution for this new year is to seek You in all my ways and trust Your will.

I ask for forgiveness in my failures and weaknesses, do not let me deviate from my resolution, because this is the desire of my heart.

Father, You know that I am made of meat and bread, but I know that Your designs and promises last forever. Therefore, Father, I ask you to increase my faith to look only at You and not at my own wisdom.

Strengthen me to stand firm in Your ways and do not deviate from my resolve, because I want to remain in You, because I want to seek Your wisdom in all my life.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”
