Sleeping in the arms of the Father

“Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command. May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 ESV

Lord, my God and my Father, thank you for this day, for the sustenance, provision and mercies.

Despite the difficulties and moments of stress, I was able to think of You and praise the Lord, and the Lord calmed my heart.

Although my body is tired, I feel strong in my spirit because of Your love.

Thank you, Father and I ask you to continue strengthening me and guiding me so that I don't trip over any stone.

The Lord guides the steps of those who love You and seek the Lord.

Therefore, Lord, I say: here I am.

Bless my night of rest so that I sleep in the safety of Your arms, in the hiding place of Your wings, I know that I will be safe.

Father, bless and guard my loved ones and send from Your angels to protect them.

Give my ways to the Lord with my heart, Father.

Because I love you, in the name of Jesus.
