Spiritual Warfare (watch and pray)

There is a battle we don't see. A war beyond our wisdom or understanding.
Our eyes cannot see what happens in the spiritual spheres, but every day we are in the middle of a battle between the angels of the Lord and the demons of Satan who want to destroy us.
We need to be attentive, prayerful and vigilant about our thoughts, the events around us, because evil arrows from hell attack us every moment with feelings of defeat, fear, doubt, malice and everything else that brings us down, hits our faith and confidence, shakes our self-esteem.
We must always be praying to God, surrendering our ways and asking for mercy for our failures and sins.
We need to watch our attitudes, thoughts and words so we don't let ourselves be acted by evil influences.
The battle is constant and we need to arm ourselves with the weapons and armor of God, prayer, faith, praise and the word of God.
We need to guard our hearts, our eyes and our ears, because these are channels to our soul.
Unfortunately we are surrounded by subtle evil influences on social media, television, movies, music and we often don't realize how these things are affecting us in our souls.
All of a sudden we're feeling down, low self-esteem, loveless, hopeless or meaningless, but we don't realize how much we've been affected by malignant flaming darts.
Seek God, always keep a connection with God in prayer, read the Bible, listen to praise, watch sermons. Keep your mind supplied with words of love, faith and praise to God.
“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.””
Matthew 26:41 ESV
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.”
1 Peter 5:6-9 ESV
