A Psalm of David (Psalm 23)

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (I lack nothing). He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:1-6 ESV

How true is this word in your life?

How much have you given your ways into the hands of God and allowed Him to guide and bless you?

How much did you ask God to help him to come and reign in your heart?

To depend on God and to allow Him to reign in your heart and govern your life is a proof of your love and trust in Him.

I know it is not an easy task.

I know how difficult it is to fight against our own desires, weaknesses of anxiety, fear and worry. But this is a task that is impossible to do by yourself, because we are essentially made of flesh and our flesh wrestles against our spirit.

But if we ask the Lord continually, He will help us through His Holy Spirit.

We must ask continually in prayer that God will help us to remain steadfast and always delivered into His hands

In the word of God, the Lord says that He leaves 99 sheep in the field to seek out the one that was lost along the way.

If you surrender your life and your ways, He will not abandon you if you get lost.

If, only if, you ask Him to be your Shepherd and govern your life.
