One day, a peasant's donkey fell into a well, he was not injured but he could not get out. The donkey cried for hours for not being able to get out of the well. So, after thinking a lot about what to do, the peasant made a sad decision. He concluded that the donkey was already too old and that the well was dry, so that it would need to be covered any way, without thinking about how he could get the donkey out of the well. The peasant called his neighbors and asked for help to close the well and bury the donkey alive. When everyone started to throw soil in the well, and it fell on donkey's back, the animal realized what was happening and then wept in despair. However, after several shovels of soil thrown into the well, the donkey became quiet, looked around and stood up. Suddenly, he was surprised when he looked at the bottom of the well and realized that with every part of soil thrown on his back, he shook himself and took a step over the soil that fell on the ground. Then, in a short time everyone saw that with the soil that fell in the well, the donkey managed to climb and it managed to trot out the well.

Life will throw a lot of dirt on you, especially if you are in a well, but the secret to not being buried alive and getting out of the well is shaking the dirt off, looking up and stepping on the ground.

Each of our problems is a step that can lead us upwards. We can leave the deepest well if we will not give up. If we have God in our lives and we have faith that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we must face the problems as opportunities for blessing and growth, not as defeats. Because God is in control and He is on His Throne. Shake the dirt off your loins, look up, get rid of all the dirt that the enemy threw on you. React faithfully in the name of Jesus. Call on the name of Jesus. Do not accept defeat or the death decree. Pray and cry out to the Lord, be humble, confess your sins and plead with God for guidance and help.

Amen.
