This is a difficult truth to be told and many don't want to know about, but it can bring life or death.
The world is so agitated, everyone is running out of time, everyone is in such a hurry to get nowhere. The world puts a sense of urgency in people's hearts and they become blinded by their chores, duties and commitments that they cannot see anymore nothing before their eyes. And so, some people are becoming insensitive, selfish, envious and malicious. Love and compassion are decreasing.
“And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:10-12 ESV
Many people live their lives looking only to maintain themselves in a social status, that is, to appear to others as something that most of times they are not. People are increasingly empty and unhappy, looking for a meaning in life that they can never satisfy.
The world is surrounded by lies and illusions that make people search for futile and useless things that will bring temporary satisfaction, so people are trapped in a vicious circle looking for a few more moments of satisfaction and happiness, but they are increasingly sinking into solitude, emptiness and despair. There is an evil in this world, masked by false freedom and deceptive progress.
Look around and see the world, where you have seen freedom speech, you see distortion of values, the right of some to the detriment of the right of others. Where you see disputes for progress, you see the cost of life or the freedom of someone who cannot defend himself. This is all a lie, a dark and evil lie that is trying to alienate people with false promises of peace and happiness, but only leads to chaos.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:10-12 ESV
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.”
1 Peter 5:8-9 ESV
The enemy wants to make people turn away from God, to create hate in their hearts so that they do not hear the word of salvation and many people harden their hearts to the point of being angry at hearing the words of the Lord Jesus.
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
2 Timothy 4:3-5 ESV
However, those who pay attention and allow themselves to be guided by the word of Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to change his life, he will have his eyes open to reality. For the time has come and the prophecies are being fulfilled and the time of the Lord is closer, but people are walking blind and deaf, deceived by the lies of the world implanted enemy that wants people to get lost and get away from the Father.
“And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”
Matthew 24:4-8 ESV
The enemy whispers lies in our minds so that our faith is diminished and erased. It inflames our hearts with envy, hate and hurt so that our eyes are blind and our ears are deaf, then we harden our hearts and lose our love and compassion for others.
So the enemy did to Adam and Eve when he lied to them about God, so he continues to do so, lying so that man will sin and sink more and more into his own pride and solitude, then turn away from God through lies and of deception:
The enemy lies about the word of God, questioning and distorting the truths of his words, just as he did with Eve, so she fell for his lies.
Just as he did with Eve, despite all the trees in the Garden and all that God had given them, he caused Eve to ignore everything else, blinding her and doubting her heart about God's goodness.
As with Eve, he lied about God's truth and authority, causing Eve to doubt God's word and disobey him. So it also makes us question the authority of God in our lives and doubts about God's Plans.
The enemy lies that God does not love us, puts in our mind that God is absent and that He does not care. Trying to prevent us from seeing what God has done for us, he sent His only Son Jesus Christ to become a man, to dwell on earth, to live among us, to teach us the love of God and then to suffer and die on a cross in sacrifice, even though He was innocent, so that He could give us to be forgiven of our sins, even before many of us exist, centuries ago He saw you and me, and all for grace, mercy and love, so that if we decide, accept and confess, we can finally be considered as Children of God and be saved. We have it all if we just believe in Him and acknowledge Him as the Son of God. BUT, just as Eve decided to listen to the enemy's voice, and decided to disobey God. Now, WE have to hear the word of God and decide to obey. Everything is for the grace and love of God, but it needs our decision to return to Him.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV
