The weight of the world

We have the habit of carrying the weight of the world on our backs, of anticipating problems that have not even happened.
We are often so anxious that it causes us health problems and we don't even notice.
We have the habit of worrying about everything that hasn't even happened yet and anticipating problems, which only increases our anxiety, fear, stress and other burdens for our life.
The world is so fast and forcing people to walk at the same speed, news in real time everything that happens around the world in the palm of your hand in just one click.
Technology that should be a blessing has become a nightmare in many people's lives.
People are becoming addicted to observing, accompanying, following, stalking and coveting the lives of others.
Other people can't get rid of their cell phones for even a few minutes to talk with their loved ones, they get hypnotized with social media, apps, etc.
Some people no longer live in real life, virtually living, in some cases living under the same roof but completely apart.
All this dependence on technology has made people carry an enormous weight on their shoulders, weights that they would not even know to explain what they are.
The weight of the need to "be" someone, to be connected, to be known and recognized, to be liked, to be followed.
This is not God's plan for our lives.
God does not want our lives to be limited to appearances and followers in social networking.
God does not want us to be slaves to technology so that we become sick and addicted.
God does not want us to be slaves to anything.
God does not want us to worship technology or some called "celebrities".
God does not want us to carry any weight of the world on our shoulders.
If only we knew what He has given us.
If only we knew how much we have received if we are simply willing to trust and believe.
If only we wanted to learn to live by faith.
If only we wanted to be truly free and happy.
If we only knew how much time we have wasted on things that do not bring us real happiness, but only a momentary joy.
If only we knew Jesus and have asked Him to live in our hearts and be our Lord and Savior.
If only we were willing to surrender our hearts to Jesus and ask Him to be the King of our lives.
If only we were willing to ask for forgiveness for our sins and for help to change our life.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 ESV
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
ESV
Amen.
