You are Righteous

You are righteous, you are perfect. Your grace overflows me and I can't explain it. Your love enraptures and it is indescribable. I only know that you love me and I love you. When I look back, I'm sure you were with me. Even in the moments when I was most wrong, in the moments when I felt most despicable, I know you were with me. You have been drawing my days since the beginning, even when I was stubborn and arrogant, even when I didn't see you neither hear you, now I know you were there

In those moments when I had no words, ashamed, you still looked into my heart. Despite of my unspoken words, you heard my prayer and I poured out my heart. I went along tortuous paths and descending into chasms and pits of perdition, your hands were guiding me to your presence, even when my feet slipped. I know I got lost, I was blind and deaf, but I never stopped loving you.

You are faithful. You have always been faithful. I was trapped in a web of loneliness and destruction, but you rescued me when I humbled myself and cried out for your help. I was filthy and despicable, and yet you stretched out your hand, freed and purified me. When I recognized my sins and confessed you as my Lord, you broke the chains and fetters of my soul that afflicted me day and night and dragged me down. So I fell at your feet, before I could say a word, you hugged me. Because you knew I was there because of you, just for you and without you, I was a dark spot in history. I was blind and you healed me from blindness and you opened my ears to finally hear your voice, so I fell apart at your feet and asked for forgiveness and mercy. You redeemed me and you forgave me. You put me in a safe place and under your wings I snuggle.

You gave me new clothes and now I just need you, I just need You, my God, my Lord Jesus.
